What are single-use fittings?
Single-use fittings - in combination with single-use hoses - are suitable for transferring products in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry, where purity and sterility are paramount. The range of single-use fittings includes:

Our single-use fittings are designed for use in single-use fluid transport systems, manifolds and anywhere sensitive fluids need to be transferred. They are offered in two flange sizes, 1-1/2" (Maxi) and 3/4" (Mini), commonly used with small pipe sizes. Both have flanges manufactured to ASME-BPE specifications.
The range of fittings is based on design concepts that combine superior lateral load strength with superior flow properties, making them the preferred connections for single-use bioprocesses. These plastic fittings offer all the benefits of single-use while offering performance not found in previous versions of flange fittings.
These sanitary fittings can be sterilised using either EtO, autoclaving or gamma techniques and have been tested to connect with other plastic or stainless steel parts.
Our single-use fittings are ideal in single-use systems and can be used to build a Complete single-use system together with our single-use hoses, single-use bags and other single-use components. The single-use systems are available as barbed and moulded - also called cast - systems respectively. The moulded connections in the single-use systems have a smooth inner surface for smooth, unrestricted flow.
The sterile, cast single-use systems save time and reduce the risk of cross-contamination while increasing productivity between batches. Manufactured with quality in mind, the systems can be quickly installed and operational in a fraction of the time needed to install traditional stainless steel systems used for pharmaceutical and biotech filling.
