What is a diaphragm valve?
A diaphragm valve is a valve that you can open and close. To be precise, it is a valve body with two or more ports, a diaphragm and a seat. When the valve closes down towards the diaphragm and up towards the valve seat, the valve becomes completely tight. A larger or smaller pressure on either side of the diaphragm causes the valve to move its position.
Where are diaphragm valves used?
The design makes the diaphragm valve suitable for most applications where you need to close and handle liquids and gases, for example - it can be with a manual handle, but it can also be pneumatic, hydraulic or electric.
