At Alflow Scandinavia A/S, we provide consultancy and sales of sanitary flow components and on-site services within the business areas "Food & Beverage", "Single-Use Technologies" and "Pharmaceutical", and we supply several large Danish companies within the pharmaceutical and food industry. We are growing rapidly and have recently hired many new colleagues, which is why we now also need a new colleague in the bookkeeping department.
As a payroll accountant, you'll make sure we get the correct payroll on time. This means you'll be responsible for managing the entire payroll process, from onboarding new employees to paying salaries and conducting monthly payroll reconciliations. In addition to the payroll process, you'll work with other bookkeeping and administrative tasks.
Your main tasks consist of:
- Set up new employees in our payroll system and with pension and insurance companies
- Collect and check data for the monthly payroll runs
- Payroll processing for all employees as well as control, accounting and reconciliation of all payroll-related data
- Knowledge and interpretation of legislative issues such as holidays, maternity leave, etc.
- Seeking reimbursement in connection with illness, maternity leave, etc.
- Bank reconciliation
- Purchasing IT equipment
- Report VAT and to INTRASTAT
Your tasks will thus be of varying nature, but with the main focus on our payroll payments. You must be able to see yourself in a dynamic environment where you work independently, in a structured and precise manner. It is important that you are able to prioritise and plan your work and follow up on any outstanding issues. To succeed in this role, you must be forward-thinking, proactive, approachable and able to communicate with colleagues at all levels.
We imagine that you come from a similar position where you have experience with payroll and personnel law issues. We expect you to have an office or accounting degree and be an experienced user of an ERP system, e.g. Business Central, and Excel. We use Bluegarden as our payroll system.
