At Alflow, we see waste as an untapped resource,
\nthat can be recycled and included in the circular economy
\nnomy instead of ending up as waste. Our collaborative
\nwith Marius Pedersen A\/S is a strong example
\non how we work strategically to increase recycling.
\nturnaround rate and optimise our waste management
\ntering.<\/p>\n

\nSince moving into our new headquarters, we have had a
\nclose relationship with Marius Pedersen A\/S, who has assisted
\nwith consulting, analysing and implementing solutions
\nto ensure more efficient waste sorting. One of the
\nconcrete result of the collaboration is that we have gone from 5
\nto 9 waste fractions, of which 8 fractions are now sent
\nfor recycling. This means that materials that
\nwas previously sent to incineration as residual waste,
\nare now sorted and included in new value chains.<\/p>\n

\nWe have reviewed our internal practices together
\nand challenged the status quo - including by removing
\nindividual rubbish bins and introduce centralised sorting
\nstations that nudge our colleagues to take
\nthink about their waste management. This change
\nalone has contributed to a significant reduction in error rates.

Another concrete result has been a common gen-
\nreview of the packaging fractions, where we work together
\nhas identified new recycling opportunities for
\nincluding paper filler, plastic and used tape. On the basis of
\nfor example, we have decided to switch to paper
\ntape by 2025 - a measure that both reduces plastic waste and
\nuse and support our circular ambitions.<\/p>\n

\nThe partnership with Marius Pedersen A\/S is based on
\na mutual exchange of knowledge and experience. Our
\ncuriosity and willingness to ask questions has led to
\nnew solutions - and it has also pushed de-
\nour own development. Together we challenge each other
\nOngoing: Can this waste material be recycled?
\nCan we sort differently? How can we entertain
\nSupport and guide our suppliers?<\/p>\n

\nFor us, waste management is not just about living
\nup to legal requirements - it's a strategic effort to ensure
\nEnsure valuable raw materials stay in circulation.
\nThrough our partnership with Marius Pedersen
\nA\/S, we ensure that more of the materials we use today,
\ncan become new products tomorrow. It is an important
\npart of our sustainability strategy and our ambitions
