Denne artikel er udgivet i vores 2024 ESG rapport.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">At Alflow, we see waste as an untapped resource,<br \/>\nthat can be recycled and included in the circular economy<br \/>\nnomy instead of ending up as waste. Our collaborative<br \/>\nwith Marius Pedersen A\/S is a strong example<br \/>\non how we work strategically to increase recycling.<br \/>\nturnaround rate and optimise our waste management<br \/>\ntering.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Since moving into our new headquarters, we have had a<br \/>\nclose relationship with Marius Pedersen A\/S, who has assisted<br \/>\nwith consulting, analysing and implementing solutions<br \/>\nto ensure more efficient waste sorting. One of the<br \/>\nconcrete result of the collaboration is that we have gone from 5<br \/>\nto 9 waste fractions, of which 8 fractions are now sent<br \/>\nfor recycling. This means that materials that<br \/>\nwas previously sent to incineration as residual waste,<br \/>\nare now sorted and included in new value chains.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">We have reviewed our internal practices together<br \/>\nand challenged the status quo - including by removing<br \/>\nindividual rubbish bins and introduce centralised sorting<br \/>\nstations that nudge our colleagues to take<br \/>\nthink about their waste management. This change<br \/>\nalone has contributed to a significant reduction in error rates.<br \/>\ntering and waste.<\/p>\n                        <\/div>\n                    \n                                            <div class=\"column\">\n                            <p class=\"p1\">Another concrete result has been a common gen-<br \/>\nreview of the packaging fractions, where we work together<br \/>\nhas identified new recycling opportunities for<br \/>\nincluding paper filler, plastic and used tape. On the basis of<br \/>\nfor example, we have decided to switch to paper<br \/>\ntape by 2025 - a measure that both reduces plastic waste and<br \/>\nuse and support our circular ambitions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\nThe partnership with Marius Pedersen A\/S is based on<br \/>\na mutual exchange of knowledge and experience. Our<br \/>\ncuriosity and willingness to ask questions has led to<br \/>\nnew solutions - and it has also pushed de-<br \/>\nour own development. Together we challenge each other<br \/>\nOngoing: Can this waste material be recycled?<br \/>\nCan we sort differently? How can we entertain<br \/>\nSupport and guide our suppliers?<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\nFor us, waste management is not just about living<br \/>\nup to legal requirements - it's a strategic effort to ensure<br \/>\nEnsure valuable raw materials stay in circulation.<br \/>\nThrough our partnership with Marius Pedersen<br \/>\nA\/S, we ensure that more of the materials we use today,<br \/>\ncan become new products tomorrow.
