We are 100% Co2 neutral on our energy consumption

At Alflow, we believe that we all have a responsibility to contribute to a sustainable society, and as part of achieving the government's goal of reducing Denmark's total CO2 emissions by 70% by 2030, it is therefore a natural part that we as a company already now start working to reduce CO2 emissions.

 

The immediate place to start is with our energy consumption - including the way we get electricity and gas to our workplace.

 

We have chosen to source our electricity and gas supplies from Co2-neutral productions, which is why we can now emphasise that all the electricity we use is based on power produced by Danish wind turbines and all the gas we use comes from generation II biogas plants. This means that we are now 100% Co2 neutral on our energy consumption (see certificates at the bottom of the page).

We contribute to the reduction of total Co2 emissions

In 2020, the Danish Parliament passed the Danish Climate Act. The purpose of the act is for Denmark to reduce CO2 emissions by 70 per cent by 2030 compared to 1990 levels, and for Denmark to become a climate-neutral society by 2050.

 

At Alflow, we fully support this goal and as a company we endeavour to contribute to the reduction of overall Co2 emissions.

That's why we work closely with our customers to optimise the entire supply chain to reduce CO2 emissions.

 

By being 100% Co2 neutral on our energy consumption, we fulfil the goal of a Co2 neutral energy supply, so we are already a good step in the right direction.
